Exploring A Local Park Adventure

Good afternoon from the Garden Cafe! Today I want to talk about my amazing adventure and day trip to Riverview Park in the City of Pittsburgh. The brillant dome of the Observatory is an important focal point. This old park has countless trials, wildlife and interesting historical attractions that surround the beautiful wooded landscape for family and romantic picnic hide aways. It's so exciting to explore new territory!!

I prepared for the trip by packing a picnic basket full of drinks including bottled water, ice tea, soda or whatever sounds refreshing. Packing a variety of sandwiches, salads, fruit and nuts makes a great lunch and supplies countless energy throughout a day at the park! Don't forget your bug spray, suntan lotion. and swimsuit. Also a blanket, comfortable chairs, or even a hammock for your relaxing pleasure. Also remember to check out their outdoor movies, concerts, various events and festivals that are going on.... You never want to miss the community events being held in the park. I believe in always being prepared! Oh yes It's also good idea to bring a change of clothes just in case someone like me falls in the creek or rolls down a hill for example. Remember It's about having fun! And I can certainly say that if you are looking for a fun day trip to a local park.... Riverview was worth the adventure!! So check it out sometime!!!
